The 69th International Astronautical Congress in Bremen, Germany was a mammoth event for us. Not only did we successfully launch our Verified Supplier Program, we also engaged with key stakeholders in the space industry and established new partnerships to further accelerate our growth towards the mission of democratizing access to the sector.

We’re still in the midst of following up after all of the fantastic conversations we had during the action-packed week at Messe Bremen, where over 6,000 space professionals, students, & enthusiasts from all over the world came together. Over the course of the coming month, we’re going to be revealing some of the key partnerships that were signed during the week in Bremen.

To kick things off, I’m really excited to announce the partnership that we have signed with HOSTmi, the honest broker for the space industry, to support their innovative platform that matches space experiments and payloads with suitable flight opportunities worldwide. Right off the bat, it was clear that we share the same vision as the HOSTmi team. Both teams are committed to building tools and platforms that help break down the barriers to entry into the sector, and at the same time, help existing stakeholders to operate more efficiently and effectively.

As an added bonus, our partnership marks a success story for the European Space Agency’s Business Incubation Network, since both companies are currently being incubated through the network. I’d like to thank Frank Salzgeber and Barbara Vincentelli for actively supporting all the startups in the ESA Start-Up Zone at IAC 2018: a truly unique opportunity to reach a global space audience! We’re very happy to be partnering with a fellow ESA BIC incubatee, and we’re looking forward to getting started with the exciting and challenge goal of integrating our supply chain platform into HOSTmi’s B2B marketplace!
